The Pfhor are a slaver race that has enslaved hundreds of other species – mainly from poorly developed worlds – and are the main antagonists in the Marathon series.

Invasion of the Marathon and Tau Ceti

The Pfhor performed a surprise, and unprovoked, attack on the UESC Marathon at 08:20 07/25, 2794. Three months later, they attacked and destroyed the human colony on Tau Ceti.[1] Durandal and Leela were damaged in the initial attack on the Marathon and Tycho was nearly destroyed.^{[citation needed]}

Invasion of Earth

The Pfhor had planned an invasion of Earth,^{[citation needed]} but at the end of Marathon 2 Durandal declares that the invasion was recalled and Earth is now safe.[2]
