J. Reginald Dujour

J. Reginald "Reg" Dujour was Bungie's lead artist during the development of Marathon and was responsible for creating all of the art for the game. Reg also designed all of the Pfhor levels except Pfhor Your Eyes Only. Part way into the development of Marathon 2, Reg left Bungie due to personal issues.[1] He has continued working in the gaming industry.
Reg attended medical school before joining Bungie and this allowed him to add a significant detail to the creatures he created. An example given in the Marathon Scrapbook is that of explaining the aliens' yellow blood as resulting from the "amount of zinc in its biological makeup."
