Stub redirects and articles
I selfishly redirected Stubs to point here before I noticed there was already a Stub article which points to Traxus:Stub. Is there any reason the content of Traxus:Stub cannot be moved to either Category:Stubs or Template:Stub? If no one has a major preference, I will move things to Template:Stub because I would find it helpful to stick the usage information with the template we use to mark stubs. - Traxus:Stub was from the initial pass at naming things, and so I have no doubt that it's in the wrong place. You've got my consent. --Ecpeterson 18:25, 16 October 2007 (CDT)
- I think the Traxus: namespace is for metaproject stuff. That's where you'd put articles about the wiki like policies, as opposed to the technological aspect which goes in MediaWiki: space. Thus Traxus:Stub would deal with how/when to use the stub template, how to organize stubs, what exactly qualifies as as stub. Stub probably shouldn't exist here at all...unless there's something in a game called "stub". The default "empty page" will give people the opportunity to search for the term. Category:Stubs is a collection of all the articles that are stubs, a good place to look if you want to contribute but don't know what to do. ⇔ ChristTrekker 17:04, 16 November 2007 (CST)
- FWIW, when I can't find a page on a wiki on the first try I usually just give up. I figure that even if I didn't guess the exact page title, someone would still have made a redirect to the real page if it existed. --Andrew Nagy 21:13, 17 November 2007 (CST)
